English 11

This course is an exploration of the belief systems, events, and literature that have shaped the United States. The curriculum examines the language of independence, delves into the Romantic and Transcendentalist movements, and addresses the evolving American Dream. Students will analyze themes of war, cultural tensions, and personal identity, concluding with diversity in contemporary literature.

Learning Outcomes
