This course provides a comprehensive exploration of literary analysis and writing skills through two semesters. Students will delve into plot, character, and thematic archetypes through various readings, and explore the forms of stories and poetic devices. The curriculum transitions into practical writing skills, covering informational and creative writing in the first semester, and focusing on nonfiction, persuasive texts, and argumentative writing in the second, ensuring a strong foundation for high school English.

Learning Outcomes
