This course introduces the core principles of financial algebra and planning, teaching students how to model interest-based growth and make informed decisions about investments, credit, and taxes.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion, students will be able to understand how career choices impact income and explain fundamental banking concepts. They will utilize algebraic expressions to model growth influenced by interest, compare the current and future value of money, and interpret investment data. Students will also be able to analyze business costs, compare various credit offers, and understand different methods for filing taxes.
