Introduction to Forensic Science
This course offers an immersive exploration of the knowledge and skills essential for a career in Forensic Science. Students will delve into the critical importance and inherent limitations of the field, alongside an examination of diverse career pathways. Practical skills will be developed in processing crime scenes, evidence collection and preservation, and the analysis of biological evidence (fingerprints, blood spatter, and DNA).

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, students will be able to identify and understand various forensic science careers and their associated responsibilities. They will also learn to evaluate crime scenes and criminal acts to select and apply appropriate forensic science techniques and interpret evidence to draw informed conclusions regarding crimes and crime scenes.
