This concise course is designed to equip students for success in English 9 by building foundational reading and writing skills. Students will learn to apply active and close reading strategies to analyze how authors utilize literary devices, structure, and language. This course emphasizes the interpretation of texts and the provision of evidence-based written analysis, providing a strong foundation for future English courses.

Learning Outcomes
