Creative Writing
This course offers an in-depth exploration of various writing forms and techniques, providing students with the skills needed to produce original work. Students will examine different types of creative writing, including novels, short stories, and poetry. A significant focus is placed on the mastery of crafting dialogue and understanding the unique characteristics of literary journalism, food writing, and travel writing.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion, students will be able to compare and contrast various forms of creative writing, write compelling dialogue, and differentiate between poetry forms. They will analyze personal narratives, examine the characteristics of literary journalism and travel/food writing, and outline the necessary steps to get their work published.
