Math Foundations
Math Foundations is a structured 1-credit course designed to give students the essential computational skills and deep conceptual understanding they need to succeed in all high school-level math classes. The courses aim to fill any gaps in a student’s basic knowledge to ensure they have a rock-solid foundation while also teaching them general problem-solving strategies and how to apply math concepts to real, everyday situations, building both skill and confidence for future academic challenges.

- Problem-Solving: Development of general problem-solving strategies across various
contexts. - Whole Numbers: Comprehensive review and mastery of multiplication and division.
- Rational Numbers: In-depth study of fractions and decimals and their application to word problems.
- Geometry: Introduction to 2-D and 3-D concepts, including perimeter, area, volume, and surface area
- Data Analysis: Working with visual tools such as frequency tables, line plots, and histograms.
Learning Outcomes
