Media Literacy
This course equips students with essential critical thinking, writing, and reading skills crucial for navigating our increasingly media-rich and tech-centric world. Students will learn to comprehend, analyze, and respond to both traditional and non-traditional media with proficiency. The course helps students critically examine their roles as media consumers and explore how to leverage non-traditional media to become more engaged and thoughtful citizens.

Learning Outcomes
Upon completion, students will apply effective strategies for approaching, analyzing, and responding to various digital media. They will learn to ask probing questions about the intended audience and underlying purpose of media messages, and investigate factors that contribute to bias and impact credibility.
