Music Appreciation

This course provides a practical, hands-on introduction to the field, designed to engage students with the fundamental concepts and historical context of music. Students will commence their journey by identifying core musical elements and patterns, including an introduction to musical notation. The course embarks on a captivating exploration of the history and evolution of music, tracing its trajectory from the Middle Ages through to the modern era, and examines music’s profound influence on society and culture.
