SAT Reading

This course provides a comprehensive approach to mastering reading strategies and vocabulary across diverse text types, meticulously aligning with the 2016 SAT. Students will cultivate a deeper understanding of crucial reading strategies by analyzing fiction, poetry, drama, and informational texts. The course equips students to provide evidence-based written analysis and prepare for the reading and writing demands of the SAT exam.

Learning Outcomes

They will gain proficiency in evaluating the function of informational texts, analyzing narrative and persuasive essays, and evaluating arguments and claims, while also developing essential presentation skills.
